If the child's parent reviews the profile to make sure the child didn't accidentally put any revealing information on there, and confirms that the profile is private and not public, then yes, it should be fine. But there are much better sites geared towards "tweens".

i would check who they are adding on there, and keep it on private, then you should be okay. i would set up a time period for them. like an hour and a half a day. or something like that

I have come to this veiw of the web in general.........if you don't have a life it's a good place to hide and pretend you have freinds. Get a hobby........read........get a camera.anything but give someone else your time who really doesn't care !

I got mine when I was 11, and I am fine. You really have to be careful about everything that the child is submitting on the internet, and make sure that they are only accepting and requesting friends that are people they know personally. Any information you put on the internet, even if it is private, is accessible to someone if they really want to get it.
