this lady i know worked at a federal prision and has a minor in computer intellegences and went in to all my friends myspaces and she knows how to do that to like everyone can u get in trouble for that???

Hacking is not legal. Unless you have been given specific permission to do so by the person or company you are hacking such as for ethical hacking / security assessment purposes.

If she is CAUGHT then she could certainly get into trouble.

If people are securing their myspace accounts then they will not be hacked. If people have proper security installed and use it with common sense and safe browsing habits they will not be hacked. If you wish to report her.. do so by contacting the FBI.

Yes that's the same as if someone could somehow get into your house and snoop around. There not stealing anything but there going through your personal stuff. So I suggest having a really hard password (long with lots of #'s and Letters). Good Luck!

ok i have to say something bout "Forensics" answer, just because people secure their accounts doesn't make them safe, i should know(i'm a hacker, i'm NOT a cracker)

I DONT have any 'formal' education in computers. Myspace is not secure, It is possible to get usernames and passwords by the THOUSAND.

Your 'information' has not actually detailed any 'wrong-doing'. How do you know she 'hacked' them?(Is is hacking if it isn't secure?).

Simply knowing how is not illegal. I think everyone should learn such 'trix'. It is the only way you are going to be able to see a defence. Copy an paste:

Myspace +(vulnrebility | exploit)

into google, to see what I mean.

If you actually *know* she has been into accounts she has no permission for, contact Myspace. They should have logs, containing IP no's.
