well.. myspace is forever working on improving their security, and spam is quite a big problem on myspace %26amp; since captcha's help stop spam i suppose they won't be abolished, unless the team finds a better way to stop spam :)

It's a security device used to stop Spammers. If they develop a better way to stop them, maybe they'll get rid of the captcha. But don't hold your breath.

Probably not. Its good to have. It's stopped phishers from getting into my account. It's stopped a lot of spam comments too. Its annoying it seems but it's good to have.
